“ I asked for my sirloin steak 2 be cooked well done, it was pink. My wife asked for the bacon on her BLT to be extra crispy, it was very limp & not crispy. My shrimp & salad & baked potato was very good. ”
“ The food was great and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Very impressed with the work done on the Opera House, in which this Cafe sits. Get a tour and check out the oldest original Opera house iin the state. ”
“ WONDERFUL little hole-in-the-wall cafe on the square in downtown Greenfield. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara Florentine Flatbread Pizza, and loved every scrumptious bite. My wife had an open-face roast-beef sandwich, for which she had been drooling for quite some time. Again, a tasty delight. Julia, our server was a hoot! I try to give servers a hard time with a smile, and she was right there with me the whole way, with comebacks quicker than I could keep up with. She kept us laughing. My only complaint is that it was a cold night, and the door opened from the street straight into the dining room, allowing a blast of cold air with each incoming guest. Their prices are well within reason for the quality of food and service. Will go there again to try one of their sandwiches. ”
“ Went to an event here in the upstairs ball room. Really a neat old place with a lot of period decor. The Intermission Cafe has been closed but the owner said he hoped to have it back open very soon. I can't rate the food but the entire place looked very clean, the atmosphere was friendly and I enjoyed the conversation with the owner. ”
“ Outstanding food, service and we were treated to a personal tour of the entire venue by one of the elder partners. His passion for the buildings history, love of the arts and his overall area knowledge was inspiring. What a grand and unexpected treat that completed our first viist and experience. We'll be back! ”
“ We were on vacation visiting family in the Stockton Lake area and were told that we had to check out this unique cafe. I'm so glad we did! This cool spot is located on the bottom floor of the beautifully restored Greenville Opera House. The decor, building, staff, and delicious food were beyond amazing! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. If you happen to be in Greenfield, MO check this place out, you'll be glad you did!! ”
“ Wow. What an experience!!! This is a little hole in the wall place with GREAT food at an excellent price. I travel locally a lot for my job. Of all the area places I have been, this is by far the best! When I travel I want a place with healthy options and hearty options. This place has just that! I ordered the grilled chicken with a side of sweet potato fries! And it came with a side salad and a dinner roll! The portion was great and the price was outrageously inexpensive! I paid 7.99 for the whole meal! Also, the service was FAST and friendly!(: I was in no rush, but my meal was on my table within 8 minutes of ordering. I have no complaints and will go out of my way to visit again! ”
“ Had a great dinner here with my family. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. My kids enjoyed their kids meals. I had the bacon chicken ranch (name?) sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was great! Only get up to Greenfield every once in awhile to see family, but will definitely try to stop in the next time we are there. ”
